I thought it deserved a smaller audience so I posted it here as well
when we label…we feel we have mastered it…
e.g….I can remember Oliver Sachs reassuring a patient that she had such and such syndrome and not to worry…every one was happy…Patient felt they had their condition recognised…doctor felt clever for recognizing it…..BUT ….it was just a a label.Nobody really knew anything at all ..so silly……
Half of Economics and half of medicine is full of such ‘Knowledge’
