Almost the same time the bomb went off at the Embassy…The Taliban was in the process of terrorising the Army and Intelligence units in Rawalpindi Pakistan.
I did’nt need to read the Indian side of story to know that they would still trot out the old conflation that suits their own sub-regional narrative , even though the evidence might suggest otherwise this time..
Quite a circle they square.Indian democracy will never throw up someone bold enough to take leadership in the region.
The recent failure of talks about talks is just par for the course.
India is great marketplace , amazing people, incredible country.
But in leadership role…it has nothing to offer but navel gazing .
And I don’t see that ever changing……
If I was Pakistan…act unilaterally .Re-instate a first strike policy with nukes and redeploy all the eastern forces to the West.
Allow UN monitored elections in Kashmir unilaterally and let the Indians find their own path
