The French and Germans pissed over the Turks reminding how the EEC was a Christian ‘thang’ they got going down and Turkey was way too Mozzy.So now..Turkey re-asserts itself in its own regional role.To suit itself.Not sure if pissing of Israel is the real target..but following European foreign Policy is best left to the Christians ..and Turkey can do it own thing now.
The Article does’nt spell it out clearly enough.
Europeans are the least religious people in the world and they are threatened by Muslims ..who they feel still have too much belief to fit into a secular society.So even the description of Europe as Christian was off base by the Franco-Germans.I’d rather a Europe that was secular at its core rather than Christian..which it is really.As Muslims…a secular one would be more threatening to live in.I can understand the wish not to have 20 million rural Turk/Kurds changing the face of inner cities througout Europe .
Muslims believe too much..Europeans believe in nobody.These two can’t build a third society.They will always live separately.
